Re-introduction to Wheel Throwing with Diane -4 weeks

This 4-week re-introduction to wheel throwing is perfect for students with previous experience and an interest in returning to pottery. Includes 9 lbs of clay, firing and glazing for up to 3 pots, access to studio tools and open studio time. Students who complete this course will meet the requirements for joining the studio membership program. Ages 18 and up. Reservations are required. 6 student maximum. Wilkin is a Central Virginia artist/
educator who works with a variety
of media – ceramics, printmaking,
pastels, and often mixed media.
Wilkin spent 24 years in PA as a
secondary art educator, and served
the profession both inside and
outside the classroom – as
President of PAEA and as a
Regional Vice President for the
National Art Education Association
(NAEA), representing 13 states. She returns to Virginia (a
graduate of the University of Virginia) and continues to focus on
creating a body of work investigating the ever changing world
around us and learning from others.
